French Drainage Systems
A French drain is an effective solution for managing excess water in areas prone to sogginess or standing water near a structure. It consists of a perforated pipe surrounded by gravel, which helps redirect water away from your home or commercial building. This system prevents water from pooling around foundations, reducing the risk of structural damage, mold growth, and erosion.
Surface Drainage Systems
Surface (traditional) drainage systems are designed to manage water from roof runoff or water flowing across your property’s surface. To capture and redirect this water, we install drain boxes, known as catch basins, which are connected to solid pipes that efficiently carry the water away. For roof runoff, we attach solid pipes to downspouts, directing the water safely away from the foundation. Since roof collection and catch basins handle different volumes of water, they require 2 separate drainage lines to ensure proper flow and prevent overflow.
